Abigail Williams is an experienced courtroom advocate who has successfully litigated complex commercial cases on behalf of insurers and Fortune 500 companies in state and federal courts throughout the country, including in multiple trials and arbitrations. While Abby focuses on representing clients in high-profile cases arising out of insurance coverage, she also has significant experience in antitrust, securities, and other complex commercial disputes.
Abby concentrates on advising insurance companies in a broad range of coverage matter involving claims related to environmental contamination, product liability, toxic and mass tort liability, business interruption, cyberattacks, data breaches, aviation, and bad faith. Abby has a deep knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry, emerging risks and trends, and insurance product offerings. As a result of her extensive experience, clients have trusted Abby to handle some of their most notable recent high-stakes coverage disputes, including sexual abuse claims, opioid-related claims, and cyberattacks.
In addition to insurance coverage disputes, Abby also has experience representing insurers in mass tort bankruptcies, including those involving sexual abuse, opioid, and asbestos-related claims. For example, Abby has represented insurance clients in connection with various Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases including Boy Scouts of America, USA Gymnastics, Duro Dyne, and various diocesan bankruptcies. She has litigated a range of bankruptcy matters, including plan confirmation objections, claim objections, automatic stay issues, and settlement approvals.

She brings a practical approach to identifying and managing risk in all contexts, including pre-litigation, litigation and transactional.
